Across India, countless performing art forms carry stories, histories, and collective memory. Many of these traditions today face challenges due to lack of platforms, documentation, training opportunities, and sustained support. Stage India Performing Arts and Research was founded to respond to this need, to nurture artists, preserve cultural practices, and strengthen theatre through performance, training, and research-driven initiatives.
We work closely with performers and practitioners to create spaces where artistic voices can grow, collaborate, and reach wider audiences.
